It has been suggested that the appropriate time to change would be when the new web site became available.\nThe Management Committee has discussed the implications of changing names and has taken steps to register the trading name to protect its use. If adopted\, the full legal name of the Society would remain\, with the business name used on the web site and promotional material.\nOther Business\n(As required)\nMembers’ Discussion\n(As required)\nAfter the Meeting\, we will be having our Research Convenor Glenyce Voevodin-Keough talk to us regarding Researching and using the GSQ Databases available to members.\n\n Voting\nMembers may vote at the meeting or by casting an absentee vote.\nTo cast an absentee vote\, a member must provide to the Secretary in writing or by email to the Society address\, advice In Favour or Against the above motion\, by 5:00 pm on Monday 13 July 2026. We will do a deep dive into Ancestry’s site to make sure you are extracting every last bit of useful material for your research. \n  \nPresenter:\nCyndi Ingle\nCyndi’s List has been a trusted genealogy research site for more than 25 years. Cyndi Ingle is the creator and innovator behind the award-winning and globally recognised CyndiList.com\, a free categorised list of more than 337\,000 links for genealogical research. Cyndi\, a genealogist for more than 42 years\, has an expertise in using technology for genealogy. Additionally\, her many active years in genealogy have also resulted in specialities for research in the United States and bringing tighter traditional methodology with organization\, computers\, software\, and the Internet.
