GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY OF QUEENSLAND
INTEREST & ZOOM GROUPS
GSQ has 11 Interest Groups, formed to assist members and facilitate the exchange of information in specialised areas.
These groups meet bi-monthly on Sundays. There are also 3 Zoom groups. The Monday and Wednesday morning Zooms are for financial members of GSQ, but the Wednesday Night Zoom is FREE and OPEN to anyone.

Membership
Membership is open to all financial members of the Society. No extra fees are applied, though attendees are asked to contribute a gold coin donation, which is appreciated. Donations are used to purchase more books/ subscriptions to online sites or computer-based resources for the Society.
A Non-Member may attend two meetings but then must join GSQ to continue attending the Interest Group.
The Wednesday Night Zoom is Free and open to anyone to attend.
AIMS of the Interest Groups
The groups aim to assist members with their research in these specialised fields. This is done in a variety of ways: Offering support and assistance with your interest; Encourage and exchange information with other like members or societies; Presentations or Guest Speakers on the Interest area; Increase the resources at GSQ in relation to that area of research.

Newsletter: "The Chronicle" is produced three times a year - an annual electronic subscription of $15 or $5 for printed copy for sale at the meeting.
